Windsor police have laid charges after an investigation into the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl.
The Windsor Police Amherstburg Detachment launched the investigation on Sunday. Investigators learned the girl had been sexually assaulted by a man who was known to her.
The man also allegedly requested and received intimate images and videos of the victim through social media.
The incidents were reported to the victim's mother, who contacted police.
A 41-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and telecommunication with a person under the age of 18.
