Swimming is not recommended this weekend at two of Windsor-Essex's public beaches.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit conducted its weekly beach testing on Wednesday, checking bacteria levels.
E. coli levels were in the "code yellow" range at Colchester Beach in Essex and at Lakeview Park West Beach in Belle River.
Colchester Beach received a 501 bacteria score, while Lakeview Park West tested at 996, just below the threshold for a "code red".
Both beaches are open, but swimming is not advised.
All five other Windsor-Essex beaches tested at acceptable E. coli levels and are fully open.
