Three people face a total of 42 charges after a traffic stop in Leamington early Wednesday morning.
The Ontario Provincial Police pulled over a vehicle on Erie Street South at Mill Street West around 4 a.m., after a vehicle went through a red light.
Inside the vehicle, they found weapons and cannabis, readily available to the driver.
A 33-year-old Lakeshore man faces two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, careless storage of a firearm, carelessly transporting a firearm, possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
An 18-year-old from Windsor was arrested and charged with 18 counts in total, including being an unaccompanied G1 license holder, driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, going through a red light, changing lanes unsafely, and weapons charges.
The OPP also charged a 26-year-old Windsor man with weapons charges, including possession of a firearm for a dangerous purpose, transporting a firearm carelessly, and possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm.
Two appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor for a bail hearing, while the third will appear in court at a later date.
