Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say an Essex man has been charged following a two-vehicle crash over the weekend.
Officers responded to a call just before 12:30 p.m. on Sunday on South Malden Road near Gesto Side Road.
One driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. No one in the other vehicle was hurt.
The 36-year-old driver is now charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving, driving with an open liquor container, driving without a licence, driving while suspended, and refusal to comply with a demand.
The driver's licence was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
The charges have not been proven in court. The suspect will have a chance to respond in a Windsor court on November 3.
