The Windsor Youth Centre is inviting the community to help it help homeless youth in the city on Saturday at its WYCked Run.
The event will start at Dieppe Gardens along Windsor's riverfront at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. It will finish at noon.
Activities this year include a 5K run, a 5K walk/stroll, a Kids Trick-or-Treat Trail, a costume contest, and family activities.
"We want the community to come together for a morning of fun while supporting local youth," said Director of Youth Services and Administration, Ashley Marchand. "Every dollar raised helps ensure young people have access to the support, encouragement, and resources they need to succeed."
The centre hopes to raise $50,000 to support its programs and services. It's already raised $11,000.
The theme is "No Youth Left Behind, Moving Forward Together."
