A 40-year-old man is facing charges after an armed robbery in Windsor on Tuesday.
Windsor police report they were called to a store on Dougall Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Investigators were told a person concealed around $100 worth of merchandise and left the business without paying. When two employees confronted him outside, the suspect allegedly brandished a knife toward them before running from the scene.
A suspect was tracked down and arrested. The individual was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, assault with a weapon, and theft under $5,000.
