Essex opened the game with two goals and never really looked back going 2-for-5 on the power play.
Tyler Scott scored twice, and added an assist to lead the 73's to the victory. Blake Rutckyj and Mark Sobocan scored for the Admirals.
Game 6 goes Friday night in Amherstburg.
