Ontario Wins Two In A Row In Big League Championship

Ontario has earned their second straight victory with a 5-2 win over the D8 Host District in the Big League Canadian Championship in Calgary.

On Sunday, D8 Host took a one run lead in the first inning but Ontario was able to tie things up in the third. Ontario then pulled ahead with four more runs in the final two innings.

Jalen Gerald, Jayme Dempster, Matt Lepin, Lucas Sorge and Kalvin Mercier each had one run for Ontario.

Ontario District 5 is represented by a little league team based in Windsor.

Ontario will play B.C. on Monday at 3pm.
