Nationals Beat Flyers, Tie Series

The London Nationals edged the Leamington Flyers 4-3 in Game 2 of the GOJHL Western Conference Final on Saturday.

The two teams battled back and forth to tie the game 1-1 in the first period and again at 3-3 at the end of the second. However, the Nationals were able to score the winning goal just over four minutes into the third.

Liam Hogan led the Flyers with two goals, while Mark Gangnon scored one.

The playoff series is now tied 1-1.

Both teams head to Leamington for Game 3 on Sunday at 7:10pm.
