Thompson To Coach Team Red at World U-17s

The Windsor Spitfires head coach Rocky Thompson has been chosen to lead a team at the upcoming 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Sault Ste. Marie.

Thompson will coach Team Canada Red starting at Hockey Canada's National Teams Summer Showcase in Calgary July 26- August 2.

"I'm very excited to have my first opportunity to work with Hockey Canada. To represent my country," said Thompson.

Thompson, 38, led the Spitfires to a 40-win season in his first go-around behind the Windsor bench in 2015-16.
