Windsor Spitfires Sign Cole Purboo

The general manager of the Windsor Spitfires says the team has signed a standard OHL player agreement and education package with Cole Purboo.

He was the team's ninth-round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection.

At 6'3" and 215 lbs, the Oakville native is expected to provide size and mobility on the wing.

The 17-year-old comes to the Spitfires from the Toronto Patriots where he played last season. He had five goals and six assists in 54 games played.

Purboo will be with the team when they travel to Flint Friday for their first exhibition game on the road.

Wednesday, the Spitfires, signed Tyler Angle.
