John Hunt says ten years ago, there was a lot of concern about the lack of optimism in agriculture.
The BDO spokesman says that's changed.
He says he's encouraged by the number of young people he's seeing getting involved in agriculture and looking at farming as a career.
BDO hosted a session for dairy farmers last week at the Knights of Columbus Hall between Mildmay and Walkerton.
The session included a review of tax issues specific to the sector and the Growing Forward 2 program as well as succession planning and retirement.
