A Canadian-U-S study looking at the phosphorous run-offs into Lake Erie wants input from a number of sectors, including farmers.
Those run-offs are blamed for the algae blooms in the lake.
Environment Canada's Susan Humphrey is the study's Canadian co-lead.
She says online is the primary way to submit comments. "We're also reaching out to targeted stake holder groups around the Lake Erie watershed, including municipal folks, and conservation authorities and the agricultural sector."
The comment period wraps up at the end of August.
The group will work from February 2016 to 2018 identifying sources of phosphorous and looking for ways to cut back the run-off.
