Grain Farmers of Ontario is pleased to be part of Growing Ontario, a program that increases awareness of the important contributions of forestry and agriculture to the province.

It will become the voice for forester and farmer concerns and achievements in Ontario.
Growing Ontario was initiated by the Grain Farmers of Ontario, the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities, the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association and stakeholders from the forestry sector.
As well, the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus is offering a certification course for farmers who need to buy and use neonicotinoid treated corn or soybean seed. Anyone using the seeds must complete pest management training and certification as part of new provincial requirements.
The course is free of charge if completed by August 31, 2016.
