The Salvation Army is getting ready to bring out its Christmas Kettles and is hoping area businesses will try something a little different.
Captain Stephanie Watkinson is looking for volunteers but she is also suggesting businesses sponsor a location .
"Maybe they can donate their employees time to stand by a kettle," she says. "So a business could take let's say the kettle at Sobeys for a day and staff it with their employees for a day."
Watkinson says the Salvation Army is having trouble finding volunteers to staff kettle locations in Ridgetown, Blenheim, Wallaceburg and in Chatham.
It is accepting regular volunteers as well.
The agency is hoping to raise $450,000 over the next couple of months.
