Man spotted walking in and out of traffic
A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged with drug possession after he was spotted walking in and out of traffic in Wallaceburg Sunday afternoon.
Chatham-Kent police said they were called in for "a man out of control" in the area of Reaume Avenue and ended up taking the man into custody for his own safety.
Police said once they were able to identify him, they learned that he had previously been released on probation with several conditions, which required him to not possess or consume any unlawful drugs.
Officers said they found some suspected methamphetamine on him when they searched him, though.
He was charged with drug possession and failing to comply with his probation order and was set to be held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Mount Brydges man sent back to CK
A 55-year-old man who was wanted for domestic-related offences in Chatham-Kent got a police courier back to the area over the weekend.
CK police said the man was arrested in Strathroy-Caradoc and taken back to Chatham-Kent for court purposes.
He was set to be held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Tilbury man accused of assault
A 44-year-old Tilbury man has been arrested after he allegedly tried to push a woman down a flight of stairs Sunday night.
Police said the woman was moving some belongings out of an apartment at the time of the incident.
Officers were called to the scene and arrested the man -- he was later released with a future court date.

Man smashes vehicle window during argument
A verbal argument in Dover Township early Monday morning took a violent turn when a man allegedly smashed the window of a woman's vehicle.
Chatham-Kent police said they were called to the scene and learned that the couple had been arguing when things turned physical -- that's also when the man ended up smashing the window by punching it.
A 42-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with assault and mischief. He was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.

Big screen TV, jewelry targeted during break-in
Chatham-Kent police are investigating after someone broke into a residence on Longwoods Road in Chatham Township and took off with a 65" Samsung TV and some jewelry.
Police said it's believed the break-in took place sometime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, adding that the total value of the stolen items is estimated at $900.

Another Chatham Township break-in
Police are also investigating a second break-in that took place in Chatham Township, this time on Prince Albert Road.
Investigators said someone broke into a residence there sometime between 5 p.m. last week Thursday and 1 p.m. on Sunday and stole the following items:
- two 40" LG televisions
- HP laptop
- Samsung 24" curved desktop monitor
- large quantity of alcohol
- throwing knives
- jewelry
The total value of the theft is estimated at $3,800.

A pair of crashes in CK
One person was charged with careless driving after police were called to a two-vehicle crash on Richmond Street near Queen Street in Chatham Sunday morning.
Police said no injuries were reported and the damage was estimated at $8,000.
In a separate incident, police were called to a single-vehicle collision on Erie Shore Drive late Sunday afternoon.
Police said in that case, minor injuries were reported and the total damage was estimated at $10,000.
The crash on Erie Shore Drive is still under investigation.

Stolen ATV
Police are looking for an all-terrain vehicle stolen in Chatham Township.Investigators said a red Ford Trax ATV worth $6,000 was taken on Monday between midnight and 7 a.m. from a garage on Prince Albert Road.
