Pair of impaired driving arrests
Chatham-Kent police were able to get two allegedly impaired drivers off local roadways on Friday.
On Friday afternoon, police received a complaint about a vehicle in the Tim Hortons drive-thru on Grand Avenue in Chatham.
A female driver had bumped into another vehicle while in the drive-thru. Officers located the woman and she failed a standard field sobriety test.
The 33-year-old was arrested for impaired operation of a conveyance. She was released from custody with a future court date.
On Friday evening, police received calls about a man passed out behind the wheel on a vehicle on Gray Street in Chatham.
Officers believed the driver's ability to operate a vehicle was impaired.
As a result, the 62-year-old was arrested for impaired operation of a conveyance. He was released from custody with a future court date.

Warrant arrests
A trio of people had to spend some time with police after three separate warrant arrests in Chatham-Kent.
On Friday morning, a 31-year-old Blenheim man turned himself in at police headquarters.
The man was wanted for several domestic-related offences. He was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.
On Friday afternoon, police received information that a man wanted for failing to comply with his conditional sentence order had gone into a building in Chatham.
Officers located the 34-year-old Wallaceburg man and placed him under arrest. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Lastly, on Friday evening, officers on general patrol located a man wanted on several outstanding warrants. The 38-year-old Chatham man was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.
