Police said an officer on general patrol pulled the driver over shortly before 5:30 p.m. Monday after seeing a match for a suspended driver on an Automatic Licence Plate Reader.
Police said through investigation, the officer learned that the driver's licence was suspended and he had been prohibited from driving eight times, and was allegedly failing to comply with his release conditions that required him not to drive a vehicle without a valid license in his name.
The accused was arrested and charged and was set to be held in custody pending a bail hearing.
