Wanted man turns himself in
A 31-year-old Chatham man who was wanted for skipping court in an assault investigation has turned himself in.
Chatham-Kent police said he showed up at police headquarters shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
He was arrested and released with a future court date.

Surveillance video helps police to identify alleged shoplifter
The law has caught up with a 39-year-old woman accused of shoplifting at a Chatham business earlier this month.
CK police said they were called to the business on St. Clair Street near McNaughton Avenue shortly after 10:30 a.m. on June 18 and learned that a woman who had gone into the store removed some items from the shelves, hid them in her possession, and then left without paying for them.
Police were able to identify a suspect by reviewing some surveillance footage and arrested a 39-year-old Walpole Island woman shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday in connection with the case.
She was charged with theft and possession of stolen property before she was released with conditions and a future court date.

Woman wanted for skipping court arrested in Wallaceburg
Chatham-Kent police have caught up with a 27-year-old Chatham-Kent woman who was wanted for missing a scheduled court date in connection with a shoplifting investigation.
Police said they found the woman on Nelson Street in Wallaceburg shortly before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and arrested her.
She was taken to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.

Police said they found her on Colborne Street in Chatham shortly before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The 40-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released with a future court date.
