CK Hospice Benefit Gala tickets selling fast

Tickets are still available for the 2024 Hospice Benefit Gala, but they're selling fast.

The fundraising event, which has raised over $445,000 for care planning, residential hospice care, and grief and bereavement support in Chatham-Kent, returns to the Chatham Armoury on Friday, October 25, 2024.

"This truly is a special evening that strikes the perfect balance of good times for a good cause," said Special Event Committee Chair and Foundation Board Member Ginny Hawken.

The formal evening features a gourmet meal and a live and silent auction and will end with an after-party. Returning this year will be the Diamond Draw, compliments of Mittons Jewellers in Ridgetown, and the Golden Ticket draw which allows the winner to pick a Silent Auction item to instantly become theirs.

Event-goers will also get the chance to learn more about the Hospice and the impact it has on the community.

"The memories you make with your friends at events like the Gala are exactly the kind of moments people reminisce about. Memories are what give you strength after you’ve lost someone close to you. By attending and participating in the auction and draws, you make it possible for loved ones at Hospice to create lasting memories and to just be that - loved ones." Hawken said.

As of Friday afternoon, only 65 tickets were left for the event. Tickets cost $200 per person, including a $50 tax receipt.
