Chatham-Kent woman facing weapon, fentanyl charges in Wallaceburg

A Chatham-Kent woman faces a long list of charges after allegations she threatened another person with pepper spray in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent police say the 37-year-old woman was arrested on Canada Day shortly before 8 p.m. at an address on Gillard Street in Wallaceburg.

A firearm and fentanyl were also found during a search by officers, according to police.

The woman is charged with the following offences:

Trafficking illicit drugs

Six counts of possession of various illegal drugs for the purpose of trafficking

Two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Unauthorized possession of a firearm

Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition

Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition

Carrying a concealed weapon

Uttering death threats

Resisting a peace officer
