The Blenheim Blades took advantage of the tail-spinning Wallaceburg Lakers with a 10-0 drubbing Sunday night at Blenheim Memorial Arena.
Nick Delyzer notched two goals and added an assist in the contest. Keir Cumming contributed three assists for the Blades.
Blenheim found itself ahead 6-0 at the end of the first period. The Blades spread the wealth in the period with Drew Marlatt, Braeden Allore, Brayden Seliga, George Wood, Delyzer's first goal and Brayden Hopkins. Owen Bateman picked up two assists in the period.
Wallaceburg pulled their goalie in the 11th minute of the first period, Zach Lindley, and put in Max Lozon.
Carter Wright would resume the onslaught in the second period, scoring at 4:18. Delyzer scored his second goal later in the period. The Blades scored two more in the third period with tallies from Dustin Maines and Zach Horvath.
Eric Stewardson had the shutout in goal for Blenheim, facing only 16 Wallaceburg shots.
The Lakers host the Amherstburg Integrity Admirals Wednesday night, while Blenheim travels to Petrolia Thursday night.

Jordan Luciw had a goal and an assist for the Amherstburg Admirals, but it would be the Dresden Kings that would prevail 5-4 at the Libro Centre.
Luciw's goal was the first of the game, on the power play. Dresden would respond with two goals in the period, from Austin Bentley and Ryan Malott. The Admirals answered back with two more goals before the first intermission, from Ryan Holzel and Cory Burns.
The Kings' Dayne Davis would tie the score up in the second period, yet the Admirals' Kasey Basile gave his team the lead again at 16:22 of the second. Kevin Ritzer would put Dresden ahead again in the second with a goal at 1:28 left in the period.
Eric Carter would score the winner at 17:16 gone in the third.
Joel Sowinski stopped 21 of Amherstburg's 25 shots in goal for Dresden, which hosts Mooretown on Friday night.
