The former Ashley Oaks Public School teacher accused of hiding a camera in a backpack and filming people inside a school change room will appear in court today. Jamie Gardiner, 37, faces a dozen charges of voyeurism and one count each of accessing and possessing child pornography. Gardiner was arrested in March and initially charged with two counts of voyeurism . However, police identified at least 20 victims and the additional charges were laid. Investigators say the majority of those filmed were employees at the school, but at least one of the victims was under the age of 18 at the time.The recordings date back to as early as 2011. Initially, Gardiner was put on leave by the Thames Valley District School Board, but officials tell BlackburnNews.com he has since been fired. Gardiner had a lawyer handle his first court appearance last month.
