Indigenous, francophone acts added to Junos lineup

More performers have been announced for next month's Juno Awards in London.

Francophone singer-songwriter and pianist Coeur de pirate, Quebec rapper Loud, country music duo The Reklaws, and Indigenous tenor and composer Jeremy Dutcher all join the lineup for the March 17 show at Budweiser Gardens.

Coeur de pirate is a six-time Juno nominee who has sold more than one million albums over the past decade. She will perform with fell Francophone Album of the Year nominee Loud, who launched his solo hip-hop career in 2017.

There will be no sibling rivalry when Ontario brother-sister duo The Reklaws take the stage. The pair are among the nominees for Country Album of the Year.

Dutcher, a 2018 Polaris Music Prize winner, will perform alongside Toronto violinist and Classical Album of the Year nominee Blake Pouliot. Dutcher is a member of the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick. His album Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa is nominated for Indigenous music album of the year.

Previously announced performers for the annual celebration of Canadian music include London dance music duo Loud Luxury, German-Canadian singer/songwriter bülow, and 2019 Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Corey Hart.

The 48th annual Juno Awards will be hosted by 12-time Juno Award winner Sarah McLachlan.

A new batch of tickets for the event have been released and are available at the Budweiser Gardens box office, online at budweisergardens.com, or by calling 1-866-455-2849. Prices start at $79.95 (plus fees).
