Police looking for suspect after two people stabbed at random

Police are looking for a suspect after two people were attacked and stabbed by a man in London's northeast end.

The London Police Service said on Friday at around 6 p.m., a male victim was inside a business in the area of Adelaide Street North and Huron Street when he was suddenly stabbed by a male, suffering minor injuries.  And then at around 6:35 p.m., another male was inside his home in the area of Belfield Street and Norwood Avenue when the same individual entered his home. The resident confronted the male but was also stabbed. He suffered minor injuries before his attacker fled. Both victims are continuing to recover from their injuries.

Shortly after at around 7:05 p.m., a male attempted to steal a vehicle in a parking lot in the area of Adelaide Street North and Huron Street but was not successful.

Police said the suspect is described as male, Caucasian, 16-20 years old, wearing a teal blue baseball cap with a shield on it and blonde hair protruding from underneath the hat, a navy blue or dark grey hooded sweatshirt with white drawstrings, pants, and running shoes. He was was also carrying a black satchel.

Officers are actively looking for this person and if he is seen, police are asking the public to not approach this male and instead call 911 immediately.
