A single new case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in London and Middlesex County.
The Middlesex London Health Unit said on Tuesday one additional person in the area had tested positive for the virus since Monday. The latest case brings the region's case count to 738.
One more previously infected person has recovered over the past 24 hours, increasing the number of resolved cases to 673.
There have not been any additional deaths linked to COVID-19 in the area since June 12, leaving the death toll unchanged at 57.
Southwestern Public Health, the health unit for Elgin and Oxford counties, reported no new infections on Tuesday. It has been nearly two weeks since the region has seen any new cases of the virus. The area's total number of cases since the start of the pandemic remains at 254.

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Ontario appears to be going in the wrong direction, with nearly 400 new infections reported over the past two days.
Public health officials didn't release the case summary on Monday due to the holiday and instead made two days worth of data public on Tuesday. In all, there were 190 new infections confirmed on Monday and 185 new cases recorded on Tuesday.
The continued triple-digit daily case numbers come on the same day many school boards across the province welcomed students back to the classroom for the first time since March. Day-to-day infections in Ontario have not dropped down into double-digits since August 26.
"[Tuesday], 28 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases, with 18 of them reporting no new cases. Toronto is reporting 48 cases with 42 in Peel and 37 in Ottawa," Health Minister Christine Elliott tweeted.
Ontario has now reported a total of 43,536 cases since January.
There were no additional deaths recorded across the province over the past two days. That leaves the death toll at 2,813.
The number of recoveries now sits at 39,196.
Currently, 54 infected Ontarians are in hospital receiving treatment, with 17 in the intensive care unit.
Over the past 48 hours, the province has processed nearly 45,000 additional COVID-19 tests.
