Changing the electoral system has become a major election issue, and voters in Grey-Bruce can learn more about it at a public forum in Flesherton this week.
Three of the four major parties have come out in favour of ditching the current system, known as 'first-past-the-post', for a fairer system that makes more votes count.
Members of the organization Fair Vote Canada will be at the Kinplex in Flesherton Wednesday evening to discuss this issue. They'll be joined by candidates and representatives of all four parties in the Bruce-Grey Owen Sound riding.
This is a free event sponsored by Peace and Justice Grey Bruce. The Kinplex is on Highway 10 just south of Flesherton behind the library. The information session starts at 7:00 o'clock Wednesday.
