Two Owen Sound teenagers have been arrested as part of an investigation into a graffiti vandalism spree discovered early Tuesday morning.
Through the day, more damage reports were received by the Owen Sound Police Service as homeowners discovered spray paint damage to their homes, fences, garages and vehicles.
The Community Waterfront Heritage Centre was hit with graffiti tags, along with numerous tags on other parts of the museum building and objects nearby.
The ferry Chi Cheemaun was also tagged with spray paint while docked on the west harbour wall.
The areas involved included the 1100-block of 3rd Ave. W and 12th St. W to 6th Ave.
Constable Chris Hartley says video evidence provided by nearby businesses and property owners proved invaluable.
Two youths, aged 14 and 16, were arrested Tuesday evening at a westside apartment building.
They each face 15 counts of mischief under $5,000, and two charges each of breaching an undertaking.
They were held in custody overnight and will appear in court on Wednesday for bail hearings.
