A travel company, based in Perth County, has won a national award.
Blowes Travel and Cruise Centres received the title of "2018 CWT Canada Associate of the Year" award.
This is the second time Blowes Travel has received this title since first winning the award in 2009.
Blowes Travel has 29 employees, partners with hundreds of travel companies and services thousands of customers from their offices in Stratford, Listowel, Mitchell, London and Strathroy.
The award was received by Rob Blowes, the vice president of the company, and several staff members attending the ceremony at the Carlson Wagonlit regional conference in Toronto.
Blowes expressed his gratitude.
"It’s an honour to be recognized as CWT’s Associate of the Year 2018 for Canada. The biggest attribute of this is staff commitment to customer service and partnerships with our quality travel suppliers," he said.
Now in its 70th year, Blowes Travel continues to provide full-service offering guided tours, cruises, land tours, travel insurance, and custom vacations from their Stratford head office as well at their five other locations in Southwestern Ontario.
"For the future, our main aim is to continue to grow Blowes Travel and we are continuously forming new partnerships and be the leading edge of the travel industry," stated Barry Blowes, president of Blowes Travel.
