The Artistic Director for the Blyth Festival says after two years of virtual performances, he is trilled to be able to offer a full season of in-person performances next year.
“We are going to have both our beautiful Memorial Hall back open wide for the public and we will also have this beautiful new Harvest Stage that we've built over the last couple of years. It will also be full to brim with some incredible shows," stated Gil Garratt.
Garratt adds if there is a theme to the next summer, it would be community.
“Everything from how do we bring our family together, how do we bring our neighbours together and also, looking at something like the Donnelly's show, how does the community heal too. It's really something that I think so many of us are thinking about right now, like, how do we come back together," Garratt said.
Garratt says there's never been a greater need to come together for most of us and we're facing some enormous challenges that will only be resolved by coming together and he hopes they can help that happen a little bit on the two stages that are the Blyth Festival.
