An early morning incident north of Walkerton on Monday ended with one person in handcuffs.
South Bruce OPP flooded an area around Bruce Road 19 and Concession 2 NDR East for an ongoing investigation, asking the public to temporarily steer clear.
Police released no details about the probe, except to reassure that there was no immediate threat to public safety.
Shortly after 6:30 a.m., police confirmed on social media one person had been taken into custody and that the public could return to the area.
"No further information will be released at this time, as the investigation is ongoing," police said.
