UPDATE: Hwy. 6 near Shallow Lake re-opens following crash that sent two people to hospital

A multi-vehicle crash that closed Highway 6 just south of Shallow Lake and west of Owen Sound on Friday sent two people to hospital.

According to the OPP, Highway 6 was closed Friday afternoon between Cruikshank Street in Shallow Lake and Grey Road 17 due to a bad crash involving two vehicles.

Police confirmed that local EMS crews arrived on-scene to assist two people involved in the crash, both of whom were sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries,

The roadway re-opened just after 4 p.m.
