GOJHL Listowel 3 Elmira 2 (OT)
The Listowel Cyclones found a way to beat Elmira.
After losing the first two games to the Sugar Kings, Listowel kept the game close at home. But it wasn't a good start Rob Kohli scored 17 seconds into the first period. The Cyclones didn't panic and scored the equalizer just over eight minutes later.
The Cyclones pulled ahead on the power play in the second period, the only goal in the frame. Elmira would even things up scoring the only goal in the third on the power play.
The game would be decided in overtime and it ended quickly when Corey Flemington scored just 40 seconds into OT.
The win propels Listowel to an 11-7 record with 22 points, just three behind Stratford. Those two teams play in Stratford Sunday night at 7:30 p.m.

Kitchener 6 Stratford 5
Nine goals were sandwiched between one goal in the first period and one goal in the third period.
Kitchener got on the board first with a power play goal with just two and a half minutes to play in the period.
The Cullitons were able to work themselves into the lead by midway through the second by chipping in four goals. But a 4-2 lead didn't last long as Kitchener outscored Stratford 3-1 in the latter part of the period. Kitchener tied the game at 5 with just 18 seconds left when Adam Kawalec, the conference's leading scorer, found the net on the power play.
The only goal scored in the third was at the 2:03 mark as Owen Lane scored the winner.

Western Junior C Hanover 8 Mount Forest 4
The Hanover Barons were clicking on offense early and built up a 4-0 lead by the midway point of the second period against the Mount Forest Patriots.
After starting the second period up 2-0, Hanover forward Tyler Loucks broke away from a neutral zone pack and pushed the puck into Mount Forest territory. As he got to the slot area, he put on the breaks and ripped the puck high glove on Mount Forest goalie Kevin Hutchinson for a 3-0 lead. Hanover would add four more goals and carry a 7-1 lead into the third period.
Mount Forest didn't completely fall over, scoring three goals in the third period but the final ended up in Hanover's favour.
Two players recorded hat tricks, Tyler Loucks for Hanover and Blair Butchart for Mount Forest.
The win pulls Hanover to within a point of Mount Forest and Wingham for third place in the league.

Walkerton 12 Goderich 2
The Walkerton Hawks scored goals on the power play, short handed and even strength, dominating the Flyers.
Goderich was disciplined, only going on the penalty kill three times. But it was enough as the Hawks went 3-3 on the power play. Walkerton also scored short handed with just over a minute to play in the first period. That made it 6-0 at the time.

Wingham 4 Kincardine 3
In the closest game of the night, Wingham gained some ground.
The Ironmen had a two goal lead headed into the third but the feisty Bulldogs chewed their way back in the game thanks to a Gerritt Satosek goal scored 22 seconds into the third period. Kincardine scored again at the 7:50 mark to tie the game.
But Wingham's Greg Hansford scored the one that ended it, on the power play at 14:23.
Both teams struggled on the power play with Kincardine 1-5 and Wingham 1-7. The lone power play goal for the Ironmen ended up being the winner.
