Attempted Murder Victim Released From Hospital

The victim of a vicious attack in Leamington back on April 16 is finally out of the hospital.

The 42-year-old man was hurt during an incident at a home on Plumbrook Dr. The Ontario Provincial Police are still investigating, and say although the incident was serious, there is no further threat to public safety.

Police are still looking for information from the public though, and anyone with a tip can call 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Soon after the incident, the OPP arrested 33-year-old Nathan Horatio Mitchell and charged him with attempted murder.

Mitchell remains in police custody pending a court appearance Friday.
