The Town of Kingsville is putting its garbage dropoffs into the bin.
The town announced on Wednesday it had disassembled its temporary garbage drop-off stations at the request of the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks.
The ministry has opened up the application process for those wishing to provide temporary relief for waste disposal sites, in light of the emergency measures put in place by the province. The ministry opened up the application process last week, and Kingsville is hoping to have the service back up and running as soon as possible.
The town said it is asking residents, in the meantime, to avoid dumping garbage or construction materials until the process is completed and a decision is finalized.
