Essex Powerlines has restored power to more than 2,900 customers in LaSalle after a transport truck hit a hydro pole on Thursday morning.
The lights were back on before 10:30 a.m. in LaSalle, and earlier to the 500 customers in Amherstburg who also lost power.
The company confirmed it started after with the crash earlier in the morning on the Ojibway Parkway and Sprucewood Drive.

Windsor Police said the driver fled the scene, but no one was hurt.
At 6:30 am, WPS was called to Ojibway Pky., at Sprucewood Ave., after a transport truck crashed into a utility pole. Following the incident, the driver fled the scene.
