Windsor Symphony Orchestra receives donation for Future Fund

A rainy day fund designed to help the Windsor Symphony Orchestra survive through good times and bad has received a $100,000 injection.

The money comes from the Toldo Foundation.

"On behalf of the Toldo Foundation, we are proud to lead the campaign to grow the WSO endowment to $10-million and ensure the future of our orchestra for years to come," said Toldo Foundation Trustee Alex Toldo at a recent performance of Charlotte Knights Sings Broadway.

The performance featured students from St. Clair College's music theatre program.

The Future Fund currently has a $4-million balance and supports mainstage concerts, education programs, and community outreach.

The Toldo Foundation hopes its donation will encourage others to support the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.
