The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced on Friday the winner of a $10,000 prize in last year's July 30 Lotto 6/49 draw has just two weeks left to claim the money.
The winning ticket was sold in London with the numbers 54896480-01.
As part of a Lotto 6/49 Super Draw offered each Saturday in July 2022, there were 20 guaranteed prizes of $10,000. To get the five-figure payout, players had to match all nine numbers.
Under OLG rules, players have one year from the draw date to claim their winnings. If that deadline passes without a winner coming forward, the money is returned to the Lotto 6/49 prize pool to be used toward future promotions and draws.
The owner of the ticket is urged to sign it and call OLG Customer Care at 1-800-387-0098 before July 30 in order to get the cash.
Late last month, a $70 million Lotto Max ticket sold in Scarborough in June 2022 expired. It is the largest lottery jackpot to go unclaimed in Canadian history.
