The first of its kind event raised more than $10,000 through sponsors and team registrations. The Tricar Group, who partnered with the LHBA to host the tournament, matched the funds raised and donated $11,500.
All the proceeds, which totalled $23,000, were given to Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU) – Joan’s Place, New Addition.
"Youth Opportunities Unlimited is a wonderful community organization. The Constructor Cup soccer tournament was an amazing way to come together as an association for a community cause, contributing to helping and housing more youth in London," said Jared Zaifman, CEO of the LHBA.
