Huron County OPP are investigating after a minivan crashed into a Goderich school on the morning of July 24.
Emergency services responded to Goderich Public School on Blake Street West around 5:50 a.m.
Police say the vehicle caused extensive damage after driving through a brick wall on the East side of the elementary school, continuing on into the library and an adjoining classroom.
Constable Craig Soldan says the out of town driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.
"The vehicle is from the Middlesex County area, and I believe the driver, who is a 17-year-old youth is also from the Middlesex County area," he said. "The investigation is still ongoing, charges though, are pending for the driver. Those have yet to be determined. Thankfully this wasn't worse."
Investigators say it doesn't appear alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
The involved vehicle has since been removed and repairs to the school are being arranged.
