A Chemical Valley alert remains in effect while product is transferred from a leaking tank car to another car in Sarnia's CN Rail Yard. Sarnia fire responded to a release of flammable liquid around 10:15am Monday. CN spokesperson Patrick Waldron says the liquid was a non-petroleum product. Firefighters, escorted by CN security, discovered the leak on a tank car at the Green St. site. It had been contained by CN personnel and no injuries were reported. Sarnia Fire says there was no impact to the public. Walgren says there was no impact to operations at the rail yard.
