We're going to see more weather extremes over the next few days in southwestern Ontario.
Environment Canada meteorologist Geoff Coulson says there's the chance flurries will turn to freezing drizzle Thursday as warmer air moves into the area.
"Some of that precipitation falling in the form of flurries, however there is that possibility of freezing drizzle occurring this afternoon and into the evening hours in southwestern Ontario," says Coulson.
"Not expecting it to be widespread, but it certainly could cause some locally slick driving conditions if we do get some of that freezing drizzle later today."
Rain is forecast Friday with the high climbing to around 5 C (41 F) in Sarnia-Lambton, well above normal seasonal highs of -2 C.
The mild conditions will be shortlived with a sharp return to winter Sunday when the wake up temperature will be -9 C (16 F).
Coulson says snow squalls will likely develop in parts of central and eastern Lambton County on strong north-northwest winds Sunday and Monday.
