Meeting With Transportation Minister Successful

Plympton-Wyoming Mayor Lonny Napper is pleased with a one-on-one meeting with Ontario Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca in Toronto Sunday. They discussed that crash-prone stretch of the 402 from Mandaumin Rd. to Oil Heritage Rd. "They're moving forward with some recommendations on the 402," he says. "Now you've got follow your plow, you can go on there and track where your plow is, improvements have been great." Residents can track Ontario snowplows at www.whereismyplow.com. Mayor Napper says the province has been working with conservation authorities on a tree planting program along the 402. The municipality may help by lining up property owners.
