Thursday marks the beginning of an end of a 65-year-old business in Petrolia. Bailey's Jewellery owner Bruce Bailey says they're having a closing out sale in advance of closing down shop. "My mother and father both worked at the canning factory in Petrolia," he says. "When they decided they wanted to start a business they bought the jewellery store that was owned by his brother at the time." Bruce starting working at the family store in 1978 and purchased it in 1985. He says the Petrolia Line business has seen a number of changes over the years but it's time for he and his wife Lori to retire so he can do a little fishing.
