Public work crews have finally parked the ploughs and are ready for road repairs.
Superintendent of Roads Tony D'Agostini says the mild winter weather spared city streets from significant damage, repairs are still needed.
He says crews will be out across the city attending to potholes.
"Be cautious and be aware that there are crews working and the activity is just going to increase as the weather warms up," says D'Agostini.
He says public work crews have already been out making repairs to lawns and boulevards damaged by snow ploughs during the winter months.
