Alix Foundation gives $35K to community projects

The Judith & Norman Alix Foundation is investing another $35,000 in community projects. The foundation board has approved $16,000 for the Moore Agricultural Society's renovations to the Brigden Fairgrounds. A $10,000 grant goes to the Bluewater International Grandfondo in partnership with the Bluewater Health Foundation for the production of a documentary film. And $9,000 is allocated to the Dresden Rotary Club for completion of phase two of The Barn Quilt Trail Project. Over 30 years, the foundation has given more than $5 million to over 30 community projects including withdrawal management services at Bluewater Health, the installation of artificial turf at Norm Perry Park, and construction of the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery.
