The Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce will host its 32nd Outstanding Business Achievement Awards [OBAA] Friday.
The gala, being held in the newly renovated ballroom at the Sunbridge Hotel on Venetian Boulevard, celebrates local entrepreneurs, individuals and organizations.
CEO Carrie McEachran said the best of the best will be recognized.
"We're really excited that this is going to be our first in-person OBAA award ceremony since pre-COVID and the business community, and the [rest of the] community, really came forth with lots of nominees for their favourite businesses," said McEachran.
"We had well over 200 nominees this year throughout Lambton County and we're really, really, excited to recognize all of the nominees and the winners on Friday night."
While the most coveted award is Business of the Year, McEachran said they have a variety of categories.
"We have a cool place to work category, and this year we brought back the young professional, inclusivity, health, safety and environmental leadership, innovation, non-profit, entrepreneur, member of the year and many, many more."
Over 200 tickets were sold for the event.
