No charges after threatening drawing sparks concern at Corunna school

Lambton OPP say charges will not be laid after a "threatening image" was drawn on the wall of a Corunna school earlier this week.

The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) issued a media release on May 28, advising residents of an OPP investigation at Sir John Moore Community School.

OPP told Sarnia News Today on Thursday, May 30, that no charges will be laid in relation to the drawing as no imminent threat to the public or students was identified.

"The OPP will remain vigilant in responding to these types of incidents to ensure the safety and security of our communities," read a statement from Cst. Travis Parsons.

The LKDSB previously said they will continue to work with police to ensure a safe learning environment for all.
