Over 150 people are expected to participate in the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run in Point Edward and Sarnia on Friday, June 6, to support Special Olympics Ontario.
A spokesperson for the Sarnia Police Service (SPS) said 160 participants have registered for the event, however, more are welcome to join in.
Participating agencies include SPS, Lambton OPP, Canada Border Services Agency, Correctional Services, Probation and Parole offices, and Special Olympics.
The run is scheduled to begin at the Waterfront Park parking lot (under the Blue Water Bridge) at 10:30 a.m.
The route will follow Victoria Avenue, to Front Street, to Michigan Avenue, to Colborne Road, to Errol Road West, and will end at the courthouse's parking lot on Christina Street.

Sarnia police said road closures will be temporary as the group passes.
Lambton OPP said a barbeque lunch will be held for participants after the run.
"Please join our local law enforcement and Special Olympics athletes as we come together to support an amazing organization," said Lambton OPP LETR Liaison Amy O'Keefe in a statement. "You can run, rollerblade, bike, or cheer to show your support."
The annual event brings law enforcement and community members together to support athletes with intellectual disabilities.
