Cruise in the Park presented by Sarnia Street Machines is set for Sunday, June 28.
The annual car show is set to have antique and modified vehicles, along with live music, food vendors and a 50/50 raffle.
"We hope to have a whole lot of cars and vehicles, specialty vehicles, a lot of custom cars, fun vehicles, just good looking vehicles, and often we get about average about 400 cars every year, but my personal goal is to have the largest car show we've ever had in Sarnia, so my goal is over 700 cars in Canatara Park," said Sarnia Street Machines President Kip McMillan.
To enter your vehicle, there is a fee of $15, and entry to see the cars is a donation to Pathways Health Centre for Children.
"We have supported Pathways for 21 years now, we've donated to them in that time over $350,000," said McMillan. "Everything we get to do is to support kids, and it is just so worthwhile to us to see those smiles and help them out, and make sure that some kids have a brighter future."
McMillan noted how the car scene is changing, and how he hopes to see the younger crowd come out and show off their rides as well.
"Come on out and come have some fun. We want all kinds of cars, we want to see the younger generation of car builders and customizers coming out. There's kids with really cool cars out there that I'd love to see a whole ton of them. There's the tuner cars that are just so cool, and they're the future of hot rodding," he said.
Cruise in the Park takes place at Sarnia's Canatara Park from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
